Hollywood, CA - The fall premiere of the ABC line-up includes a remake of the popular 1970's series 'Charlie's Angels,' But its the brunette in this trio, not the blonde, that is creating all the buzz.  Nigerian-American actress Annie IIonzeh has been cast as one of the remake's three angels.

The 27 year-old veteran of 'General Hospital' is from Texas and and has the role of Kate - an ass-kicking former cop. It also star other new comers Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor, Angels is executive produced by Drew Barrymore (no stranger to the franchise after the $264 million-grossing film adaptation) and original series producer Leonard Goldberg.

In the original 1970's 'Charlie's Angels,' the three angels shot to the heights of global pop culture and remained known (and some might argue, marked in a detrimental way) as classic beauties who had the tendency to kick some but all in the name of Charlie. In the newly released trailer for the series - one of eleven new shows in ABC's line-up - Ilonzeh wearing a housekeeper's uniform as her cover, emerges from an elevator and then proceeds to high-kick down a hotel room door and slam two beefy dudes to save a blonde tied up in the next room.
